STORY


During an adventure aboard an anchored sailboat, founder John Lundin explored a simple distilling experiment which lit the flame for a business that would reshape what it means to craft spirits.

Founded in the Pacific Northwest in 2008, Bluewater Organic Distilling is a community-focused, independent distillery dedicated to crafting brilliantly-smooth vodka, gin, aquavit and liqueurs. With a focus on sustainability and artisan techniques, Bluewater has evolved to be the industry leader in quality and integrity. Our award winning organic spirits are copper-distilled in small batches, bottled in American glass and pledge 1% for the Planet.

Nestled on the Waterfront at the Port of Everett, Bluewater Organic Distilling’s flagship location is home to the distillery, tasting room and retail store, award-winning craft cocktail bar + fresh bistro and private event venue.

Adventurers at heart, you may catch the team paddle boarding in the marina or sailing on the 45’ expedition aluminum sailboat that was handbuilt in the distillery.

Sustainability is a major part of Bluewater's culture. Our organic spirits are part of 1% for the Planet, USDA-certified organic and bottled in American glass.

Our Flagship Bar + Bistro works with local suppliers to source the highest quality natural + organic ingredients and we are committed to using compostable materials whenever possible.

We proudly contribute 1% of our gross bottle sales to environmental conservation through our membership with 1% for the Planet. We give directly to approved organizations who focus on protecting our planet.
